Brief History of CGMI Greatness Center

CGMi Greatness Center was inaugurated on the 12th of March 2017 by Rt Rev Dr Festus Akhimien, PhD , Bishop of Abuja Bishopric of CGMi ( Church of God Mission International).CGMi Worldwide is headed by Archbishop Margaret Benson – Idahosa . The Church was founded by Archbishop Prof Benson Idahosa (1938-1998). We are a Pentecostal Church.

UNIQUENESS OF CGMI GREATNESS CENTER:

CGMi Greatness Center is the only church in CGMI worldwide that was inaugurated on the same day the entire world wide ministry celebrated the 19th anniversary passing on to blazing glory of her founder/ President Archbishop Prof Benson Idahosa, the father of Pentecostalism in Africa.

Interestingly the Head Pastor began his membership of the CGMi in 1972 after his conversion. Rev. Engr. Emmanuel Egbagbe as he is sometimes also called. Worked very closely with the founding Archbishop and the present leadership of the church even while still working in the public service . The Head pastor attended the All Nations for Christ Bible School between 1989-1991 and held various positions of leadership in Faith Arena which has always been the Seat of the Archbishop. That has given the church an amazing Exposure to the workings of Faith in doing signs and wonders.

UNIQUENESS OF CGMI GREATNESS CENTER...

Greatness Center has an amazing choir led by the Music Director Min. Osaghae Austine who has been in charge of church choir as a music director before joining Greatness Center. We have had many experiences of people passing by coming to sit to listen to the choir during rehearsals. The worship is also very modern but spiritual.

Our services are unique. We have Praise and Worship, we pray with scriptures, Read our global daily devotional titled “Above Only”; The Word comes out with great grace, wisdom and power of the Holy Ghost. We take testimonies every Sunday service. The testimonies have always shown God’s faithfulness to us on a daily basis. As a matter of fact, we believe that ” Everyone a Testimony “.

UNIQUENESS OF CGMI GREATNESS CENTER...

Our bible studies are faith inspiring and we have oftentimes done ministrations during Bible study. Our services always have the Holy Spirit manifesting Himself in our midst.
People coming under the anointing of the strong presence of The Holy Spirit are common experiences. We have had healings, miracles and deliverances. Many have been lifted spiritually, and financially. We have more testimonies than we have been able to publish.

On our first anniversary, we have launched our publication titled ” EXCEEDING FAITH “. It’s an amazing magazine. We welcome you to uplifting experiences with God that you have never had before. We Serve Free Tea / beverages and light snacks after our Sunday Morning services. We are a very friendly homely but Spiritually Strong Church with deep foundations on God’s word.
